CAPTURING THE ESSENCE OF RIMUNUI

During our 2022 harvest, only 1,000 jars of the exceptional Mānuka Honey Single Origin Rimunui were produced. 

This rare honey originates from Rimunui, a secluded oasis nestled in a valley deep within New Zealand's West Coast. For over 15 years, Mānuka Health has partnered with Scott & Julayne Thompson, custodians of Rimunui Station, to preserve its rugged beauty for future generations. Nestled amidst stunning views of Mount Taranaki and Mount Ruapehu, Rimunui has undergone significant transformation. Since 2020, 330 hectares have been dedicated to mānuka planting, reclaiming over 2800 hectares of land back to its native bush state from extensive farming dating back to 1890.

In this pristine isolation, mānuka trees bloom abundantly for only 4-6 weeks each year. During this fleeting period, honeybees and mānuka trees unite in a timeless dance, giving rise to Rimunui Single Origin Mānuka Honey.
